Lafayette Christian Church is a place where we believe in celebrating God’s presense in the world through song! And while we sing often as a congregation, there are places where more specialized ministry of song takes place.

The LCC Choir:

Each Sunday, except for summer worship (from mid-June to early September), the LCC choir participates in worship by singing. We have a wonderful choir here at LCC, but we are always on the lookout for more voices. So if you would like to join the choir, all you need to do is contact our Music Director, Michael Patch, and say “I would love to sing!”

Choir rehearsal is held each week during the church year, except for summer, at 7:30 to 9:00 on Wednesday night. The choir also meets at 10:30am on Sunday, a half-hour before worship, for a quick run through of the morning music.

Faith Alive Choir:

At various points throughout the church year, our children also sing as a choir. The Faith Alive choir adds a joyful celebration by our youth to our worship. Faith Alive rehearses at 9:30am on Sunday mornings during the church year, immediately prior to Sunday School classes. They have a great time, and if you have children, we would love to have them sing their faith!
