Chi Gung: A Moving Meditation. Take an hour for yourself!!
Chi gung literally translates into “energy training,” These slow repetitive movements allow us to calm down and breathe deeply.
Each movement is repeated a number of times allowing us to focus on our bodies and breathing. This is different than Tai Chi where each movement is followed by another movement. Therefore, no prior experience in tai chi or chi gung is necessary to participate in this workshop. While the moves are traditionally done standing up, they can easily be modified while sitting.
We will be doing some initial warm up exercises followed by the Chi Gung movements. This style of movement has been very popular with those attending the women’s retreat. So, come and experience a time to relax and be rejuvenated.
Kathy Cramer has been practicing this movement style for over 10 years. A second session with different movements focusing on health is offered in January 2021. This is a Zoom event.
