About the Event

Chi Gung for Health: Take an hour for yourself! The health benefits of Tai Chi and Chi Gung have been well documented. There are many different styles of Chi Gung which literally translates into “energy training.” These slow repetitive movements allow us to focus on our deep breathing and specific areas of our body. 

Chinese medicine is based on a series of meridians that run throughout our body and focus on specific organs. The movements we will be doing tap into these meridians and energy centers. 

No prior experience in Tai Chi or Chi Gung is necessary to participate in this workshop. The movements are designed to be done standing but can be modified to be done while sitting.
